Video Meeting on the EGC in Ankara

Tuesday 20th January 2026, 19:00. Online via ZOOM – to join on the night please use this meeting link. The organisers of this year's European Congress will do a short presentation on the arrangements for Ankara this year, and will then answer any questions you may have.

Online Lesson 1

Sunday 25th January 2026, 14:00 - 15:30 Online via Discord. Joining instructions sent with registration.
Kim Seung-Jun (also known as Blackie), a famous 9 dan Korean professional, will review professional's games, and some of yours that you send in, to extract learning points from them.
The lesson is targeted at 9 kyu - 3 dan players, but others will also gain benefit.

Saturday 31st January 2026. Fylde College C34, Lancaster University, Lancaster LA1 4YW. 3-round McMahon with Fischer time 40 minutes + 10 seconds. Side 13x13 event. Registration 10:00–10:30, prize-giving 18:00–18:30.
